Independent Contractor Opportunity:
We are looking for Enrolled Agents/CPA/Attorney's with Tax Resolution experience. Responsibilities include, negotiating client tax resolutions and completing tax returns while acting as the main point of contact for the client throughout the case. This position is remote and is on an independent contracted basis. Case assignment is flexible and based on experience.

Requirements:

  • Must have a minimum of 100 tax resolution cases through the ACS directly with the IRS.
  • Displays strong leadership skills, promoting synergy and providing guidance and direction on case strategy, customer service issues, withholding guidance, and complex client matters.
  • Extensive knowledge of IRS processes and procedures; including collections, examinations, innocent spouse, and offer in compromise, appeals, advisory, penalty abatement and ID theft.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the Internal Revenue Manual and the capacity to build arguments using IRS policy, revenue procedures, and law.
  • Capacity to work with and resolve all income and debt types.
  • State resolution experience a plus.
  • Ensure compliance with tax professional standards and ethics.
  • Acts in a manner consistent with the rules and standards of both his/her governing professional organization and IRS Circular 230.

International Tax Senior Analyst

The senior tax analyst will be responsible for working with the Director, Tax, primarily supporting the global transfer pricing function. Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of U.S. income tax principles regarding U.S. and international operations.
  • Knowledge of IRC Section 482 and equivalent foreign country requirements.
  • Assists with preparation of contemporaneous transfer pricing documentation and compliance.
  • Assists with periodic transfer pricing calculations, functional analyses, modeling, projections, and scenario planning.
  • Participates in U.S. and international tax controversy and bilateral competent authority procedures and compliance.
  • Working knowledge of ASC 740 income tax accounting.

Internal Controls:
Understands and complies with established departmental processes and procedures designed to support internal controls efforts under Sarbanes Oxley.

Successful incumbents will have:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting (or equivalent), an advanced degree in taxation desired.
  • 2-3 years of tax experience in U.S. headquartered multinational environments desired.
  • Working knowledge of SAP general ledger system.
  • Approximately 5 - 15% travel to various facilities may be required.
