Understanding Michigan Flow-Through Entity Taxes (Webinar)
Since 2021 Michigan has allowed certain entities, such as partnerships and S corporations, a Michigan flow-through entity (FTE) tax credit, which is allocated to the individual Michigan tax returns. In addition to a credit for Michigan FTE tax, adjustments for the entity's Federal deduction of Michigan FTE tax are often required, resulting in additions or subtractions on the individual Michigan 1040s. The reporting of these Michigan FTE credits, additions and subtractions on an individual 1040 will be explained. This webinar will also cover the procedures for an entity to elect, file and pay Michigan FTE tax and the reporting requirements for an entity to report Michigan FTE information to its individual owners.
This webinar will be presented by Becky VanDort.
