We are small CPA firm in Minnesota - looking for 1-2 virtual tax reviewers. We call the position an account manager as your role would be to manage all aspects of the client relationship. You would have a staff to help with admin and prep of returns.

Must be 10 plus years experience. Ideal for an EA with an existing book who wants to drop Turbo Tax call job and relace income with tax management work.

We would assign you 25 to 60 clients for you to manage as your "book of business".

Our firm in Chester, NY is hiring a Staff Accountant/Tax Professional for full-time, part-time, year-round, or seasonal positions. Join our team of 5 professionals focusing on tax planning, advice, and accounting for small businesses. Remote opportunities available for the right candidate.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Prepare individual and entity tax returns.
  • Perform tax research and draft memos for management approval.
  • Manage invoices, documents, and client records.
  • Support month-end and quarterly preparations, including reviews of offshore team's work.

Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Google Workspace.
  • Experience with CCH Access, AnswerConnect, Xero, QuickBooks, and Gusto (preferred).
  • Ability to work independently and within a team, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Professional communication skills.

Additional Information:

  • Experience with international tax and research tools like CCH Answer Connect is a plus.
  • Accounting degree, Enrolled Agent certification, or CPA preferred.
  • Partial weekday availability between 9 - 5 ET is required.
